about

I am an Australian contemporary artist working primarily in oil, with Filipino heritage and a growing body of work shaped by time spent in Mexico.

Before focusing on painting, I worked as an art director in advertising, where I developed a strong foundation in visual storytelling, composition, and concept development. This background continues to influence my approach to structure and form.

My work explores the way memory is formed, fragmented, and preserved. Drawing from lived experiences — shared meals, places, and relationships — I reconstruct moments through a contemporary visual language.

Subtle references to faith and spiritual structure are embedded within the compositions, forming a deeper framework beneath the surface. Through this process, I aim to create work that feels both personal and universal — where culture, memory, and belief intersect.
